Ithaca is a beautiful university town home to the prestigious Cornell University, which has excellent botanical gardens. It sits at the southern tip of Cayuga Lake, the longest of all 11 Finger Lakes. The entire area is rich with nature parks featuring many hiking trails, bike paths, rivers, waterfalls, and all types of water sports. The area is abundant with wineries and breweries and is considered the "Wine Route" of New York State.
