Niagara Falls has many tourist attractions, and the massive amounts of tourists visiting the area drive developers to add new attractions.

A Great View of the Falls

Viewing from the state-of-the-art giant Ferris wheel "Niagara SkyWheel", which rises to a height of 53 meters. Since it is located on a hill (on Clifton Hill), you can look out over the American Falls, the Canadian Falls, and the Niagara River. The ride on the wheel takes about 12 minutes, during which you will make about 6 revolutions. Since the ride is in enclosed and air-conditioned cabins, the attraction is open year-round.

"Niagara's Fury"

The newest attraction in Niagara Falls. A 4-D movie where you will experience firsthand how the falls were formed.

The film features sound effects, sights, and additional surprises using the most advanced technologies, which until today were used only in medical developments and the satellite industry. The experience begins with a lovely 8-minute animated film where you will learn how the falls were formed during the Ice Age. Afterward, you will enter a unique theater with a 360-degree screen for an approximately 6-minute multi-sensory experience: the temperature will drop by 20 degrees, water will splash, and snow will fall around you. Located in the renovated entertainment center near the Horseshoe Falls, in the "Table Rock" area. Open year-round.

Interactive Entertainment Center and "Freefall"
Niagara Freefall & Interactive Centre

The main attraction at the location is hovering in a vertical tunnel, where air currents blow participants wearing special suits that fill with the injected air (a similar attraction is described in the Orlando chapter). First, you undergo training and explanations lasting about 25 minutes, and then you start flying. Fun and an experience for the whole family. The center offers additional attractions for action lovers: a "mechanical bull" ride, laser tag, a climbing wall, simulators, and computer games.

The complex is attached to several successful hotels (some of which will be detailed below) such as: Sheraton on the Falls and Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls.

Waves Indoor Waterpark @ the Americana Resort

A new indoor "tropical" water park, attached to the "Americana" hotel, featuring a "beach" with a wave pool, various types of slides, a play area for toddlers, and hot tubs. Open in all seasons of the year.
