Trip to Copenhagen

Copenhagen, located in the Zealand region on the eastern coast of Denmark, is the largest city in Scandinavia with about 2 million inhabitants.
Copenhagen is a charming city full of gardens, parks, historic buildings, palaces, high-quality museums, picturesque canals, and bustling pedestrian zones filled with shops and cafes, and it is easy and convenient to explore on foot.

Trip to a picturesque spot at the northern tip of Denmark

Most Israelis visiting Denmark dedicate most of their time to Copenhagen and its surroundings (Zealand island) and venture at most as far as Legoland, located in southern Jutland. Travel books in Hebrew also deal only with these areas.
However, northern Jutland Jutland, the "tip of Denmark," from which many ferries depart to southern Norway, is my preferred area: green, full of lakes and inlets, and above all, full of pleasant family attractions and successful holiday villages.

Independent trip to Scandinavia

I would like to shatter a myth prevalent among many travelers, which is that Scandinavia is best visited on an organized tour.
The subject of this article is not the advantages and disadvantages of an organized tour. Everyone must do some soul-searching, knowing their knowledge, desires, and character, and choose the way of traveling that suits them best.
This article is intended for independent travelers who have already traveled to various countries around the world outside of an organized tour, but are afraid to travel alone in Scandinavia, due to distances, due to roads, due to prices, and mainly because that is what their good friends did.

Holiday village in Denmark - Lalandia

A large holiday village in southern Denmark on the Baltic Sea coast. Located about 150 km south of Copenhagen.
This is a paradise for families. The village is suitable for fans of active vacations, thanks to its abundance of attractions and activities, but on the other hand also for those coming to catch some peace and quiet.
The place features the largest indoor water park in Denmark with a wave pool, slides, jacuzzi, solarium, saunas, and a toddler pool.

Park Inn by Radisson Copenhagen Airport –A 3-star hotel a five-minute drive from the airport and ten minutes from the city center. Located two minutes from the subway station. The hotel features an indoor pool, sauna, gym, free Wi-Fi, and free parking.

Nimb Hotel – A luxury 5-star boutique hotel with 17 rooms located in Tivoli Gardens in the most central location in the city.

Best Western Hotel Hebron – A 3-star hotel with 99 rooms in a central location a few minutes' walk from Tivoli Gardens and the City Hall. Internet and breakfast are included in the room price.

Adina Apartment Hotel Copenhagen - A successful 4-star apartment hotel with 128 rooms. Located near the harbor, close to the waterfront, next to the ferry pier, 2-3 stops from the city center. The hotel features an indoor pool, sauna, and gym.
