Center Parcs is a Dutch network specializing in short-term vacations and has holiday villages in European countries.
The parks are mostly located by lakes in the heart of forests. They are located near cities and tourist attractions.

The heart of each park is the indoor tropical water park called "Aqua Mundo", which features a wave pool, water slides, rivers, a jacuzzi, and saunas. The water temperature is constant year-round at 29 degrees Celsius. The place features rocks, trees, and tropical flowers.

At the holiday village, there are many and varied sports activities in indoor facilities and under the open sky, such as tennis, golf, bowling, boating, rope climbing, target shooting, and more.

The parks offer guided activities according to age groups (mainly during holidays and weekends) and a daycare/babysitting club for small children.

There is also a nice petting zoo with a variety of animals that you can also pet.

Each park has its own unique feature; for example, DE KEMPERVENNEN park in the Netherlands has an indoor ski center where you can learn skiing at various levels in small groups.

HET HEIJDERBOS park has an indoor jungle, DE EMHOF park has a marina specializing in water sports, while LES BOIS FRANCE has a castle with a horse-riding farm.

Center Parcs offers a wide range of restaurants and a supermarket for those interested in cooking for themselves, as well as several shops. There is a laundry facility where you will get your laundry folded and neatly arranged.
Inside the parks, there is no car traffic, and movement is done by riding bicycles or walking (except on arrival and departure days, when cars are allowed up to the houses).

The price of staying at the holiday village also includes entry to the water park and some of the sports facilities. The price is relatively affordable (the price depends on the country, park, type of villa, and seasonality) because it includes comfortable accommodation in a fully equipped house that saves the need to eat many meals in restaurants and provides plenty of activities. Admission prices for additional activities such as bowling, mini-golf, bicycle rental, etc., are quite reasonable.

You can stay at Center Parcs holiday villages for three nights on weekends - Friday to Monday, four nights midweek - Monday to Friday, or a week from Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday. During peak seasons such as Christmas or summer vacation (the second half of July and the first half of August), the minimum stay in the park is one week.

The only downside I found in Center Parcs is that it is so pleasant and successful to stay and spend time there that in most cases the children simply flatly refuse any exit or trip outside the park.
The solution for this is to stay there for a whole week, with at least two days of not leaving it at all, or to come for 3-4 days of vacation at the place without touring almost at all.
