Chain Stores in Europe

One of the best-known and cheapest chains in Europe is Primark. Originally an English store, it quickly spread to many European countries and became a giant department store chain known for its low-to-medium prices. Today, you will find Primark branches in England, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, and more.
The stores are usually large and very popular (as evidenced by the long lines at the cash registers...), built with several floors where each floor is dedicated to a different sector: women, men, children, homeware, cosmetics, and more.

Another large fashion chain in Europe is C&A, founded in the Netherlands in 1841. Today, the chain has over 1,500 stores across Europe: Germany, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Italy, Romania, Croatia, Denmark, and many more. About 200 branches are dedicated exclusively to children, but most branches include fashion, apparel, and accessories for the whole family: women, men, boys, and girls.
A "smaller" chain (though all is relative...) is the successful and classic Promod. The chain was founded in France in the 1970s, originally as a boutique serving women. The boutique grew into a women's and men's clothing chain in France and from there to the whole of Europe. Today in 50 countries in Europe and beyond, you will find over 1,060 stores: France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Romania, and even China, the USA, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates. The stores are mainly suitable for those looking for quality clothing at reasonable prices.
Another chain has positioned itself as suitable for young people, students, and fans of the smart-casual look. The chain A.P.C was founded in the late 1980s and is now spread across many European countries such as the Netherlands, Portugal, France, Germany, Spain, and even made aliyah to our country and opened a branch in Tel Aviv. As mentioned, the store is very popular among students worldwide and mainly offers innovative casual wear.

Shopping in Rome

Rome is beauty, romance, culinary arts, culture, religion, art, grandeur, architecture, colorfulness, and much more. The center of Rome is spread across seven hills east of the Tiber River, on both banks of which the city extends. Among the hills, which form the core of the city, you will find the Capitoline Hill and the Palatine Hill, where, according to tradition, the brothers Remus and Romulus founded Rome.

Alongside the history and art in Rome, shopping is an integral part of a visit to the city. The place for all brand shops and more upscale stores is Via del Corso, Via Del Curso. The street starts from Piazza del Popolo and extends to Piazza Venezia, and you will find brand stores as well as particularly luxury shops, such as Ferrari and Swarovski. For designer lovers, it is also recommended to visit Via Condotti, Via dei Condotti. The street starts from Piazza di Spagna and is the "home" of designer shops like Armani, Prada, Versace, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and more.

For those looking for small markets and boutique shops, it is also recommended to visit the other side of the Tiber River, in the Trastevere district, Trastevere. Today the district is a bustling center of nightlife, art, and culture and is very popular among Rome's youth, but in the past, the district served as one of the oldest Jewish neighborhoods in Europe. It is very pleasant and recommended to stroll through the alleys, where you will find designer shops, cafes, ice cream parlors, and many restaurants.

In Rome, you will also find profitable outlet centers that are popular with locals. The most famous is the Castel Romano Designer Outlet, Castel Romano. This is a shopping center where you will find over 110 stores of all the best fashion brands in Italy and the world, women's, men's, and children's fashion. The shopping center is located outside the city and can be reached by a shuttle that departs from Rome's central station, Termini.

Another successful outlet is Valmontone Outlet Fashion District, which is also located outside the city but is even larger than the previous one.
