Cruise on the Majestic Princess Ship

In 2017, the cruise ship Majestic Princess was launched, weighing 143,000 tons and carrying 3,560 passengers!

The ship's maiden voyage took place in April 2017. The cruise departed from the port of Trieste in Italy. The following article describes the ship and the cruise itinerary.

Between 2024 and 2026, the ship will alternately sail in Europe, America, and the Caribbean.

"Majestic Princess" Majestic Princess

Majestic Princess, the ship created by Princess Cruises, is the sister ship to the Royal Princess and Regal Princess series.

Like other cruise lines, Princess has also recognized the potential of the Chinese market and is trying to tap into it. The Majestic is the first ship built specifically for the Chinese audience, yet it still retains international touches. For example, Chinese gambling and casino enthusiasts will enjoy an exceptionally large casino and even a VIP casino for high rollers.

In addition, the Chinese fondness for karaoke can continue even while sailing the open seas, as the ship features large and spacious karaoke rooms.

The ship's main atrium is particularly spectacular and dramatic. A glass staircase guides guests across 3 decks alongside shops, cafes, a photo gallery and art gallery, a juice bar, and restaurants. This is also the ship's social hub, hosting games, trivia, short shows, and of course, the traditional captain's speech.

Princess is one of the world's best-known premium cruise lines. As such, the Majestic ship also offers high-quality and unique experiences for its guests. Passengers looking to pamper themselves and relax can choose between massage rooms in the spa, the indoor pool, or a completely different experience: watching a movie under the stars on the largest movie screen on the ship.

Jacuzzi pool

The Hollywood Conservatory complex is unique to the ship and the only place to spend long hours: an adults-only complex featuring luxurious beach cabanas.

The ship is magnificent and a "wow" feeling will accompany you throughout the days of the cruise, but after all the activities – let's not forget the food. Princess is known for its gourmet cuisine, and once again it proves itself. The culinary experience on the ship includes 9 dining options included in the price, plus 6 additional fee-based restaurants.
Among the options included in the price, you will find the main dining rooms with excellent service, an exceptionally rich buffet, a special bakery, a pizzeria, a dim sum bar, and more. Among the Specialty Dining options, you will find an excellent Chinese restaurant, a French bistro, a successful steakhouse, and also the Chef's Table Lumiere for a private dining experience surrounded by a curtain of light.

Cruise Itineraries

The ship's maiden voyage took place, as mentioned, in April 2017. The cruise departed from the port of Trieste, Italy.

The ship stopped along its route at the port of Kotor in Montenegro, which you can read about in the article: Tours in the Port of Kotor and its Surroundings. And finally anchored at the port of Civitavecchia near Rome.
The ship sailed in Europe during the first few weeks, but soon left in favor of cruise itineraries from China to Japan and Korea, on cruises intended and marketed exclusively for the Chinese audience. In 2018, it also sailed on various routes in Australia.

Between 2019 and 2021, the ship sailed on diverse itineraries in the Far East, Australia, New Zealand, and various islands in this region.

Between 2024 and 2026, the ship will alternately sail in Europe, America, and the Caribbean.
