For several years, people eagerly anticipated a new ship from Carnival, and in May 2016, "Carnival Vista" was launched—the company's largest ship of that year, packed with numerous surprises and innovations.
Carnival's slogan is "FUN SHIP". Their ships are colorful in a Las Vegas style and brimming with around-the-clock activities. The company is renowned for the diverse entertainment programs it offers its passengers, featuring dazzling shows, playful social games, and various contests—all highly interactive with active passenger participation: talent shows, karaoke, pool games, and more. Carnival Vista, weighing 134,000 tons and accommodating nearly 4,000 passengers and 1,450 crew members, naturally features all the well-known and beloved amenities found on the company's ships, along with a multitude of novelties and innovations unlike anything yet seen on any other cruise line.
Sailing Itineraries:
In its inaugural year, the ship sailed several Mediterranean itineraries and later moved to cruise the Caribbean.
In 2025–2026, the ship's homeport will be Port Canaveral in Florida, and it will sail various routes to the Eastern Caribbean, Southern Caribbean, and the Bahamas.

"SkyRide"
Pedal-powered cars, similar to bicycles, that travel on an elevated track suspended above the sports deck and over the open sea. In addition to a great workout, riders enjoy breathtaking views of the ship, its facilities, and especially the ocean sprawling beneath them.
IMAX Cinema
The first of its kind at sea, screening the latest blockbuster Hollywood movies on a giant screen.
WaterWorks Water Park
Featuring several cutting-edge and exciting slides. The most unique among them is Speedway Splash, which stimulates the senses with an array of shifting colors. The complex also includes a dedicated water play area for toddlers.
Extra-Large Sports Area: SportSquare
Includes a ropes course, mini-golf, billiards, ping-pong, foosball tables, basketball and volleyball courts, outdoor fitness equipment, and of course, a jogging track.
"Dr. Seuss" Complex
For the younger crowd, there is a charming zone they won't want to leave: decorated and furnished in vibrant colors with a fun ambiance inspired by the famous Dr. Seuss book series. Illustrated characters on the walls as well as costumed characters walking around entertaining the kids turn storytime into an unforgettable experience. To complete the experience, a unique Dr. Seuss menu is offered, featuring custom pancakes, curly fries, and even green eggs.
Stateroom Innovations
For families, spacious Family Harbor staterooms accommodate up to five guests. There is no need to book two connecting rooms; the whole family can stay together in a fun and roomy family stateroom. The complex includes a dedicated family area featuring a 24-hour lounge offering complimentary breakfast, drinks, and snacks throughout the day, as well as a variety of games and movies for the entire family. Guests staying in this section also enjoy concierge and babysitting services, as well as free meals for kids at most premium specialty restaurants on board.
Another new category is the Havana staterooms and suites, styled with particularly bright and vibrant decor. You'll feel as though you're staying on a "private island" retreat with a Cuban flair. Guests staying in Havana accommodations enjoy exclusive access to an area featuring a private pool, club, and bar. The Havana Cabanas suites also feature a private outdoor patio with a relaxing hammock.

The variety of restaurants on Carnival Vista is the largest of any ship in the fleet:
A new addition for gastronomy enthusiasts is "The Chef's Table"—a gourmet dining experience where you dine alongside the chef, who prepares exquisite dishes right in front of you while offering a glimpse behind the scenes of the fascinating culinary world.
Additionally, the ship features a seafood bar, an upscale steakhouse, an Italian restaurant, an Asian restaurant, and a Japanese restaurant.
For sweet-tooth lovers, there is a treat for both the palate and the eyes: a massive and colorful candy store styled with a vast selection of sweets and candies, alongside a custom ice cream bar where you can create your own combinations with the candies on offer.
All of these specialty restaurants carry an extra charge, but rest assured, in addition to the main dining rooms, there are plenty of complimentary dining options available, such as: Guy's Burger Joint serving incredible burgers, BlueIguana Cantina for Mexican food, Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que, Mongolian Wok, pasta bar, Pizzeria del Capitano, and more.
