The Giant Ship: Symphony of the Seas

♦ Routes (free): Detailed travel itineraries in USA

Symphony of the Seas is the fourth ship in the "Oasis" class, which includes 5 ships (the newest of which is Wonder of the Seas). These were the largest ships in the world until the launch of "Icon" in 2024.

For action enthusiasts, a new and different escape room awaits, where you must escape from a submarine.

Sports Bar

For sports fans, the Symphony features a particularly recommended sports bar called Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, with dozens of TV screens showing sports matches from around the world, along with various sports and logic games. The sports bar is located on the Boardwalk.

Unique Shows

On the Symphony, as befitting a ship belonging to a company that prides itself on the most impressive and invested shows at sea, grandiose shows unique only to this ship are presented. The most impressive productions are: The musical Hairspray, a Broadway hit and Tony Award winner.

The show Flight, about the history and future of aviation; the HiRo show at the Aqua Theater, combining futuristic technology with amazing acrobatics; and an acrobatic jumping show on flexible straps (trampoline) above the water.

Special Suites

In the accommodation category, in addition to the vast variety of rooms found on the three previous ships in the series, the Symphony has especially cool family suites: The suite named ULTIMATE FAMILY SUITE, spanning two floors, is designed for up to 8 passengers. It features a slide where children slide from the kids' room to the living room, a whole wall built of Lego, an air hockey table, a billiard table adapted for children, a family jacuzzi on a huge balcony full of amusements, a private cinema room for screening 3D movies with a popcorn machine, a gaming console with plenty of games, and more. Why even leave the suite?

Naturally, the price will not suit everyone, but usually, the special suites are snapped up, so if someone is interested, they should book the suite a very long time in advance.

New Restaurants

Two new restaurants on the Symphony are Hooked Seafood restaurant, a New England-style seafood restaurant with a New England atmosphere.

Did you know? Symphony of the Seas was built from 500,000 separate parts. 27 times more parts than the Eiffel Tower!

Similar to the Harmony, the Symphony also has a water park with cool slides for the daring and a water play area for children, plus a unique "dry" slide, The Ultimate Abyss, at a height of 14 floors.

The ship has 23 pools, jacuzzis, and slides.

The Symphony, like its three predecessors, has seven "neighborhoods" full of attractions and restaurants (20 different restaurants!), which include, among others: The "Central Park" - a huge park, longer than a football field, completely open to the air, lush with (natural) vegetation located in the center of the ship, containing over 12,000 plants including tropical vegetation, bamboo, tall trees reaching a height of 2.5 stories, climbers, vines, and landscaped gardens incorporating a variety of artworks from around the world.

Central Park

The "Boardwalk," reminiscent in character of the seaside promenade at Coney Island or Atlantic City.

The "Aqua Theater" located at the end of the Boardwalk is an amphitheater overlooking a 5.4-meter deep pool, considered the deepest pool on cruise ships, which also serves as a pool for various water activities but primarily as a stage for various water shows including, among others, impressive fountain shows integrated with lights and music. The sight of a hundred water jets firing into the air to a height of over 20 meters is spectacular.

And the "Royal Promenade," a central space that serves as a huge shopping and entertainment center.

The Youth Zone activity area for children and youth on the Symphony, similar to the Harmony, is the largest of all cruise ships with charming and impressive facilities appropriate for different ages, including playroom for children, including infants from six months old, a theater and laboratory for children, and a club for children aged 12 and up.
