This is a circular route in British Columbia starting from the city of Vancouver, including a visit to Vancouver Island, Victoria, Butchart Gardens, and Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.

Vancouver
Vancouver is a dynamic, vibrant, and modern city, rightly considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is nicknamed the "Crown Jewel" of Western Canada due to its fantastic location between high mountains, bays dotted with numerous islands, and the Pacific Ocean. It offers a great blend of wild nature, manicured parks, and urban landscapes featuring skyscrapers, interesting architecture, unique neighborhoods, and markets. Vancouver is considered the "Hollywood" of Canada because many movies are filmed here.
Note: Travel between Vancouver and Vancouver Island is done by car ferry. BC Ferries connect Vancouver Island to the city of Vancouver. There are several ferry routes operating at a relatively high frequency, which varies depending on the season. The ferries cater to all types of vehicles as well as foot passengers. Advance reservations are highly recommended! Ferry duration is about an hour and a half each way.
The ferry to Victoria departs from the terminal south of Vancouver city: Tsawwassen
and arrives at the port (Swartz Bay) north of Victoria.

Victoria

Pacific Rim National Park Reserve
Tofino is a charming and popular resort town located right next to Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Another nearby town that serves as a great base for exploring the area is Ucluelet.
Pacific Rim National Park Reserve consists of three distinct areas: a long beach named "Long Beach," a collection of islands called the Broken Group Islands, and a coastal trail called the West Coast Trail. The park is famous for its rugged coastline and temperate rainforests.

Hiking along top trails in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve:
1. Rain Forest Hiking Trail – a walk on elevated boardwalks through a rainforest.
2. Schooner Cove Hiking Trail
● Hiking along the longest beach, Tofino Long Beach.
● Visiting the stunningly beautiful Chesterman Beach, especially recommended during low tide when you can observe an abundance of small marine life.
● Visiting one of the many art galleries in downtown Tofino.
● Boat cruises combining whale watching and/or bear watching.
● Sea kayaking amidst scenic surroundings.
● Natural hot springs accessible only by boat.
