Halifax Halifax
Halifax is the capital city of the province of Nova Scotia at the eastern tip of Canada, on the Atlantic Ocean coast. It is also the largest city in Nova Scotia and the cultural and economic center of the province. It is a beautiful and vibrant city with a large port which is one of the largest cruise ports in Canada. The cruise port is located in the heart of the city, adjacent to the long and beautiful boardwalk.
Halifax is also an excellent starting point for a day trip to the Annapolis Valley wine country.

Peggys Cove Peggys Coce
The most touristy and famous town in Nova Scotia, Canada is: Peggys Cove located about 45 minutes (45 km) southwest of Halifax. The town features a photogenic lighthouse on rounded rocks and a cute harbor. Additional details can be found in the article on trips from Halifax.
Lunenburg Lunenburg
Lunenburg is located on the coastline southwest of Halifax, about a one-hour and fifteen-minute drive (100 km). In this town, which has been recognized by UNESCO as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, every house is painted a different color, giving it a picturesque appearance. Kejimkujik National Park
The park is located about 65 km (about a fifty-minute drive) southeast of the town of Digby. This is a park abounding with lakes, rivers, and forests. The park is popular for camping vacations. Digby Digby
Digby is a small and picturesque port town in western Nova Scotia in eastern Canada, serving as the starting point for a trip in Nova Scotia for those arriving by ferry from Saint John (New Brunswick). Digby is also a very successful destination for whale watching cruises as well as a day trip to the nearby national park with the challenging name Kejimkujik.
The town features a cute main street on the waterfront overlooking the fishing harbor with restaurants and shops, as well as a lighthouse overlooking a charming bay.

St. John St. John
Saint John is the second largest city (after Moncton) in the province of New Brunswick in eastern Canada with about 70 thousand residents. The city sits on the shore of the Bay of Fundy, known for its extreme tides which are also felt in the river crossing the city.
Saint John is a port city visited by many cruise ships. It serves as an excellent starting point for a day trip to St. Andrews.

Moncton Moncton
Moncton is the largest city in the province of New Brunswick in eastern Canada. This is the only province in Canada where both English and French serve together as official languages. About two-thirds of the population are English speakers and one-third French, and some also speak both languages. The city of Moncton is a wonderful city for a trip with any composition, including family trips. It has a vibrant culture and entertainment life, sports competitions, and many social activities. It is also recommended to take star tours from it to the Bay of Fundy, Prince Edward Island (PEI), and other destinations along the northern coast. In Moncton, you can witness a unique and very impressive natural phenomenon: "Tidal Bore".

Prince Edward Island PEI
PEI is located northeast of Moncton and is connected to the mainland by a long bridge called the Confederation Bridge. This is the longest bridge in the world (12.9 km) passing (in winter) over frozen waters. The island became very famous thanks to the story and series of films about it called "Anne of Green Gables" and the author of the book who lived on the island. On the northern side of the island is the Green Gables Heritage Place which features a museum about the author and her books.

How to continue the route from PEI Island:
There are two ways to leave the island and reach the next destination, Baddeck on Cape Breton Island. One way is to take a Northumberland Ferries Ltd ferry from the south of the island to the community of Caribou in Nova Scotia. The second way is to return via the bridge you used to get onto the island. There is almost no difference in the time it will take you to reach Baddeck by either method, but using the ferry creates a schedule constraint to match the ferry.
Cape Breton Island - Cape Breton Island
In the northern province of Nova Scotia at the eastern tip of Canada is Cape Breton Island and located there is also a national park of the same name around which runs an impressive and famous scenic road called Cabot Trail. This island is connected by a bridge to the mainland and there is no need to take ferries to reach it.
It is recommended to stay in the city of Baddeck located in the center of the island and from there take star trips on the island.
